If you are using the same Access Token (which is the case if you connect everything to your personal Facebook account) to display a lot of different Facebook feeds – either on your own website or across multiple sites – then you may exceed the API request limit that Facebook has set for your Access Token. This error occurs when the Access Token you’re using is making too many requests to Facebook in a short period of time. Your Access Token is making too many requests You can also do this for an individual feed by going to Facebook Feed > All Feeds > click Edit for the feed > Settings > click Clear Feed Cache. You can clear the plugin cache and force the plugin to check the Facebook API again by going to Facebook Feed > Settings > Feeds > click Clear All Caches. Try waiting a few minutes and then trying again. You can do this via the setting located under Facebook Feed > All Feeds > select Edit for the relevant feed > Settings > Advanced > API Post Limit Facebook’s API may have a temporary issueįacebook’s API may be unreachable temporarily. If you’re requesting a high number of posts or have the post limit set very high then try reducing the post limit. Facebook has certain limitations on its API and doesn’t allow you to retrieve too much data in one request and put too much load on their servers. If one of the locations offered in the setup is not close enough to your actual location, it may be useful to try a third-party service such as Bright Data. To prevent your cookies from expiring too often, we recommend decreasing your activity rate. To get those cookies, use our handy browser extension! All you need to do is log back into your account and then reconnect your Phantom with the new cookies. This causes your session cookies to expire. If your activity rate is too high, LinkedIn may see it as suspicious and log you out. Websites such as LinkedIn are always on the lookout for bots, so they keep a close eye on your activity. If the cookie expires, the Phantom can no longer reach your account to process the actions you would like it to process. Phantoms are able to connect and automate on your behalf with access to these cookies. A new cookie is automatically generated once you log in again. If you log out or are disconnected, the cookie expires. If you find that yours are not working and are expiring too often, you might need to be careful!Įvery time you log into your social network account, a new cookie is created for that "session" of time that you remain logged into the account.
